Over our 27-year history, KRM has been grateful to meet some of the most caring and passionate members of our community — volunteers.
Volunteers dedicate their time in many different ways to make Kentucky home for refugees: they set up apartments for new families arriving, ride the bus with new ESL students so they learn about their new surroundings, interpret in shared languages, co-sponsor new families who don’t know anyone in their new home, come by the office to file paperwork, and so much more.
Hear from some of our volunteers about their KRM experiences in this video from 750four Productions. Thank you to Elijah McKenzie, Wenda Webster Fischer, Beth Clark, and JJ Jones for sharing.
