Louisville World Refugee Day Celebration
June 23rd, 2026

Along with Catholic Charities’ Migration & Refugee Services, International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Newcomer Academy, KRM hosted the annual World Refugee Day event to celebrate the vibrant refugee communities of Louisville.

World Refugee Day (June 20th) is an internationally recognized day designated by the United Nations to honor the strength and courage of those forced to flee their home to escape conflict, war and persecution. In Louisville, resettlement organizations, community partners, clients, staff, and volunteers gathered together with global music, arts, activities, food and more in celebration and solidarity!
