Whether you donate toys, raise money, or hire a refugee, you can give back to our newest neighbors this holiday season. Here’s how:
donate winter wear & linens
The items of greatest need at this time of year are warm bed linens and blankets, coats and jackets, gloves, and scarves. If you’re in Louisville, please bring these items to our office Monday through Friday, 9:00 – 5:00 pm. If you’re in Lexington, we encourage you to give these items to our community center partners GlobalLex. Staff refer refugee clients there. Questions? Contact us!
shop for toys for refugee kids
Help our youngest Kentuckians feel the joy of the holidays by donating toys. See our KRM Louisville office’s Toy Wish List for ideas. Toys will be collected until December 13.
on giving tuesday, join a global movement
On Tuesday, November 28, you can join a worldwide movement to give back by donating online directly to KRM. Share your story on social media about why you support refugees.
celebrate krm artists
On Saturday, December 9, join us at C2 Event Venue in Louisville for another KRM Live showcase. You can show support for our artists new to Kentucky, and entry fees are donations toward KRM and the refugee and immigrant performers.
Jump start your 2018 volunteering

grow the support in lexington
Give a boost to the KRM Lexington office in Blue Grass Community Foundation’s Good Giving Challenge, an online fundraiser from November 28 to December 31. All funds given here also count toward our KRM Partners fundraising campaign goal.
hire a refugee
You can help a parent provide for their family this season by hiring a refugee through KRM’s Employment Services team.
