For the second installment of the Celebrating Our Neighborhood KRM and LFPL partnership series, we highlight the diverse arts and culture of Iraq. During this event series, we will explore the history, arts, cuisine and music traditions of Iraq through UofL historians, artists, former refugees, and members of the local Kurdish and Iraq communities.
Presented over three nights in July, August and September, these entertaining and educational events will be held at various Louisville Free Public Library locations across Louisville.
Please join us for the second event in the series, Celebrating Our Neighborhood: Music of Iraq, at LFPL’s South Central Regional Library on Saturday, August 24th, from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a free event, but seating is limited. Register for this event at LFPL.org/OurNeighborhood or (502) 574-1623
