Join KRM, in partnership with Louisville Free Public Library (LFPL) and Americana World Community Center, as we kick off this four-night event series that explores the history, culture, cuisine, and performing arts of Cuba – Celebrating Our Neighborhood.

The first event in this series delves into the history of Cuba from 1898 – present, devoting specific focus towards the changes brought about by the Cuban Revolution, as well as the experiences of Black Cubans and the fight against racism. We invite you to join us for this unique opportunity to broadens an understanding of Cuban history and sheds more light on the events and figures that have led to the economic and humanitarian crises faced by Cubans today.
