How you can give
krm louisville
KRM Louisville schedules all drop-offs and pick-ups of donated furniture and household items. To schedule a drop-off to the KRM donations warehouse or a pick-up with the KRM donations movers, please click the “Submit a Donation Inquiry” button below. If you would like to host a donation drive for collecting household or hygiene items, please contact Donations Coordinator, Jamilee Vail, at jvail@kyrm.org.
PLEASE NOTE: Unscheduled drop-offs are not accepted. Please do not leave donated items in or outside the KRM Louisville office building.
KRM Louisville Amazon wish lists: These allow supporters to easily choose and donate vital items most needed for arriving refugee families. The lists have been organized into several categories, with some items marked as “high priority”. All items are already preset to be delivered directly to KRM – You do not need to schedule a drop-off or be located in Louisville to donate items from these lists. KRM Lexington has a warehouse located at 133 Trade Street, Suite 5, in Lexington. Donations can be dropped off on Thursdays from 12-3pm or by appointment. Pick ups of large donations can also be done by appointment. Please contact use the “Submit a Donation Inquiry” button below submit your donation information and staff will reach out to you to schedule an appointment. Please do not bring donations to the KRM Lexington office on West Sixth Street. KRM Lexington IS currently accepting furniture donations. View our updated Amazon wish lists below!
krm northern kentucky
KRM Northern Kentucky schedules all donation drop-offs of household items. Furniture is not accepted at this time at KRM Northern Kentucky. If you have furniture to donate, we recommend scheduling a pick-up through our furniture provider, New Life Furniture Bank at (513) 313-0530. Unscheduled donation drop-offs are not accepted. KRM Louisville: Winter Coat & Accessories Drive (through January 2025)
Amazon Wishlist – Winter Coat Drive (Louisville)
KRM is accepting new and gently used winter coats, clothing accessories and heavy/warm blankets for arriving refugee and immigrant families. Items accepted:
- Warm coats: Adults and children. All sizes and ages are welcome. For both adult men and women, sizes most needed are smalls, mediums and larges.
- Clothing accessories: warm hats, scarves, wraps, mittens and gloves. All sizes welcome.
- Blankets: Heavy/warm quilts, down comforters/duvets (for twin, full and queen bed sizes) and thick blankets.
This year, KRM Louisville is accepting winter coat donations by appointment only, on designated weekdays. To schedule a drop-off time for your donation or for information on hosting a winter coat donation drive, please contact KRM Donations Coordinator, Jamilee Vail, via email: jvail@kyrm.org.
You can purchase new coats for donation to newcomers via the KRM Winter Coat Drive Amazon Wishlist. Items purchased from the Amazon Wishlist are mailed directly to KRM – no need to schedule a drop-off!
KRM Lexington: Winter Coat & Accessories Drive (through January 2025)
KRM Lexington is in need of new and gently used winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, etc, for newly arrived refugees and immigrants. All sizes are welcome.
Drop offs can be done at the KRM Lexington office at 501 W. Sixth St, Suite 250, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm. Please bring only the items specified above. No other clothing will be accepted for donation. Drop offs can also be done at the KRM Lexington Warehouse on Thursdays from 12-3pm or by appointment. If you would like to coordinate a large donation of coats, serve as a drop off location, or conduct a drive to support KRM Lexington, please reach out to mcoulston@krmlex.org.

Please note: KRM offices can only pick up in their respective areas. Lexington staff cannot deliver furniture to the Louisville or Northern Kentucky offices or vice versa.
Transportation Donations
Bicycles (Louisville only)
Bikes can make a vital impact on a refugee’s life, sometimes making the difference in whether or not they can travel to a new job. KRM partners with Beargrass Christian Church’s Pedal Power Project in Louisville, Kentucky, to provide bicycles to refugees. Pedal Power Project accepts used bicycles and can refurbish them when necessary. Bicycles for kids and adults are both welcome! To donate your bicycle, call Beargrass Christian Church at (502) 896-1161.
Vehicles
Your donated vehicle can help a family access after school programs or new employment opportunities. Please note: KRM does not accept any vehicle manufactured more than 15 years ago or that has more than 150,000 miles on the odometer. Learn more in this Vehicle Donation Form.
