March 13 – 15, Unity of Louisville presents the three-day Lamp of Peace event. This is the first ever appearance of this event in the U.S., and there will be a special KRM Live performance during the first evening, Friday, March 13th!

As part of Project 80’s, the Lamp of Peace is a symbol representing the “light of peace” that emerged from the darkness of WW II. Participants will experience a multitude of ways to spread peace and harmony during this three-day event, including Interfaith & Multi-Cultural Peacemaking Activities, a concert for peace, a Peace Walk and much more!

The March 13th KRM Live performance will feature a unique trio of artists bringing together music traditions and skill from across the globe: Haitian American singer/songwriter, Christella Philippe, Grammy-nominated music producer and composer, Fred Bogert, and musician, Sanaan Hamza, specializing in Kurdish percussion and traditional instruments.
