Immigration Legal Services

KRM’s immigration services are family-based and humanitarian (e.g., refugees and asylees). These services are open to community members of all immigration statuses, regardless of whether or not you were resettled by KRM or arrived as a refugee. Services are offered in Louisville, Lexington, and Northern Kentucky.

All services are fee-based:

  • Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
  • Travel documents
  • Permanent residency (green card)
  • Family reunification
  • Marriage Based adjustment of status
    • Fiance Visas
    • Citizenship/Naturalization
    • Affirmative and Defensive Asylum Cases
    • U, T, and VAWA cases
    • I601A Waivers of Inadmissibility

Citizenship / Naturalization

To offer support throughout the citizenship preparation process, KRM citizenship classes assist applicants with learning U.S. civics and practicing the oral interviews. Citizenship preparation classes are open to the community. Classes are offered both in-person and online, and you MUST bring your Green Card to enroll.
