SUMMARY:KRM LEX: Info Session and Volunteer Orientation June 2026
DESCRIPTION:Attend a KRM Lexington Info Session & Volunteer Orientation to learn more about refugees and resettlement in Kentucky or to begin volunteering with KRM! March’s orientation will be held on June 2nd at 6pm at KRM Lexington’s office. \nFor those who would like to learn more about refugee resettlement but aren’t ready or able to volunteer at the moment – You’re welcome to join us for the info session in the first segment (approx. 30-45 min.). The info session provides a better understanding of topics\, such as the refugee journey\, newcomers to Lexington\, cultural awareness\, and KRM services for refugee and immigrant clients. \nIf you are applying to volunteer with KRM Lexington\, you will need to attend both segments of the session\, which includes both the info session and volunteer orientation. This orientation will provide more info on the volunteer opportunities currently available\, weekly hours and frequency or duration of each department placement\, volunteer application requirements\, and offer an opportunity to ask questions. \nTo learn more about volunteering at any of the KRM office locations (Louisville\, Lexington\, or Northern KY) or to register for a KRM Info Session & Volunteer Orientation\, please visit the Volunteer Page on our website. \nIf you have additional questions about the KRM Lexington volunteering process or application\, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator: volunteer@krmlex.org.
