For those who would like to learn more about refugee resettlement but aren’t ready or able to volunteer at the moment – You’re welcome to join us for the info session in the first segment (approx. 30-45 min.). The info session provides a better understanding of topics such as the refugee journey\, newcomers to Louisville\, cultural awareness\, and KRM services for refugee and immigrant clients. \nIf you are applying to volunteer with KRM\, you will need to attend both segments of the session\, which includes both the info session and volunteer orientation. This orientation will provide more info on the volunteer opportunities currently available\, weekly hours and frequency or duration of each department placement\, volunteer application requirements\, and offer an opportunity to ask questions to KRM staff. \nTo learn more about volunteering or to register for the next monthly KRM Info Session & Volunteer Orientation\, visit the Volunteer Page on our website. If you have additional questions about the volunteering process or application\, please reach out to Volunteer & Co-sponsorship Specialist\, Kristina Lynch: volunteer@kyrm.org.
