Kentucky Refugee Ministries is extremely grateful for your interest in our donation program. Donations are an integral part of the resettlement process. Whether you have gently-used items around the house that you no longer use or want to give a monetary contribution, all donations are greatly appreciated.
There is currently a great need for twin and double beds (frames, mattresses and box springs), kitchen tables & chairs, pots & pans and toiletries. To donate, call Darren Semones at (502) 479-9180 ext. 53 to set a date and time for your donation to be picked up. Smaller household items such as lamps, irons, linens, towels and kitchenware can be brought to our office at 969 B Cherokee Road, Louisville 40204 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday.
KRM is unable to accept any clothing donations with the exception of childrens basic school uniform attire (khaki or navy slacks, white or blue shirts, etc.) and in the winter only coats, hats and gloves for all ages. Neither do we have need of curtains/draperies or large appliances such as washer/dryers and air conditioners. Please consider taking such items to any of the seven Goodwill Industries located in the Louisville area and mention Kentucky Refugee Ministries and the "Agency Assistance Program."
Any donations to the Goodwill Industries Agency Assistance Program that are credited to Kentucky Refugee Ministries provides credit toward the purchase of any needed item that we do not have in our warehouse. Please send us the receipt that you will be given in order for us to document your donation. In addition, ask Goodwill to give you a tax donation receipt acknowledging your donation to them.
